fabric headbands..why didn't I think of this?

A friend asked me to maker some headbands and this is what I came up with:

Keeping myself busy..

I have been away for a while, mainly because Leila keeps so busy. I have started so many projects that I think I am in over my head. The last ones I have finished are a party dress and some hooded towels. Thank you to The Cottage Home blog. I just enjoy following her and have used her tutorials which are so easy to follow.

The dress I made is for Leila's first pageant. It took me a few hours even though it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, it will work for tomorrow...or should I say today.

This is my attempt at showing off my craftiness. I have never been good with words so hopefully this will turn out. I first decided to start making bows when I found out I was having a little girl. One because I couldn't afford to spend 10 dollars on every bow she has. Plus I needed one for each outfit she has. Plus, it was a great hobby to pick up since I had so much extra time. I will post more as I get the chance.
